Can We Just Go NOW?

It's still a secret - at least as far as my kids are concerned.  So if you know my kids, you are still sworn to secrecy.

I wanna go NOW.  I am ready for this break, this time with my husband, this escape from reality.  I am ready to act like a kid and just have fun.  I'm ready for time with my friends after my weekend with my husband.  I'm ready for the worship conference that week.  I'm ready NOW.

Well, except for packing.  I guess I need to start obsessing over packing.  I'll personally be away from home just over a week.  That's a lot of clothes, yo.

But that's beside the point.

I'm excited and I'm eager and I wanna go NOW.

DINING - CHECK

Dining reservations are done.  We are on a dining plan simply because I like not having to think too much about food when I'm there.  I think about food almost non-stop, it seems, when I'm not on vacation.  So getting that all figured out ahead of time is a win.

We have dinner at 'Ohana.  Dinner at Mama Melrose with a package that includes special seating for Fantasmic (Hollywood Studios end-of-day fireworks/show).  Dinner at Teppan Edo (Japanese steakhouse) in EPCOT.

FASTPASS+ - CHECK

With the new Magic Band system fully in place, reservations are actually made well in advance for the rides.  I selected Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, and select seating for the Festival of Fantasy Parade (Magic Kingdom).  I selected Toy Story Midway Mania, Star Tours, and Lights, Motor, Action Extreme Stunt Show (Hollywood Studios).  I selected Soarin', Spaceship Earth, and Mission: SPACE (EPCOT).  And all those will be used by mid-afternoon each day and we can then select new fast passes if we want to for later in that day.

PLANS WITH FRIENDS - CHECK

Jeff will leave on Monday.  2 of my friends from my church come in on Sunday.  Which means I can upgrade my 3 day ticket to a 4 day ticket when I am on property for a minimal fee and we will spend the day at EPCOT.  This is a great plan for me because there will be less pressure to cram in all the food and drink options in just one day with Jeff.  Then we can spend Tuesday hanging at the resort by the pool, hitting Downtown Disney, and getting settled before the Experience Conference starts Tuesday evening.  Then we spend the rest of the week in praise and worship, a night in Magic Kingdom, maybe a character breakfast and then home.

Did I mention that I am ready to go right now???
