Secrets
I'm not good at keeping secrets.
Let me clarify, actually. I'm not good at keeping my own secrets.
It's good to "require confidentiality" because it is much easier to maintain confidentiality than to keep something a secret.
Most of the time, I end up leaking my secret to my one or two closest friends (and Jeff, of course). Or maybe a few more...
But once I tell one person, I can't seem to stop. Especially with good news. Or even bad news. Sometimes.
I know I sound wishy washy and uncertain.
But there is good reason for this muddle.
I have a secret!!
Not a secret. I have to maintain confidentiality. There are great risks if I were to break that confidentiality.
Not to worry... my secret will be revealed sometime in the coming weeks. It will be most interesting for those who know me personally. It will probably be pretty boring for those who know me only through written words. I will try my best to make it as interesting as possible.
Shhhhh!

Will you be joining the ranks of the five-member-families?? I have been told repeatedly since I first got pregnant with my youngest that "three is the new two." Am I close? :)
You're now a lesbian?
You're pregnant?
You are really a man but raised as a girl?
You won the lotto?
You want someone to pee on you?
You want to pee on someone?
You ate an entire bag of Oreos?
You're an alien and have decided to save the earth?

I'm sure one of these is right.
Ha! Such creative readers!!
I really meant it when I said it was boring, though.
And I will openly admit... I will happily sit down and consume an entire package of oreos anytime!
Is this one of those "chain letter secrets." You send the letter to ten of your best friends and can't say anything for a couple of weeks otherwise the "miracle" won't occur?
Why is it that whenever someone has a secret, I feel like I have to know?
lol@jim and garrett!
you've definitely piqued my interest...i look forward to hearing what this secret will be....
You tease!
I'm not cool with you having a secret! Not cool, not cool, not cool!
Liz! I posted about having a secret on my blog too (October 21), and NOBODY commented. Kind of funny - but you - YOU - have the world on the edge of its seat.
I think your secret is about you getting some kind of honor, and it is confidential until published. Or maybe you have been approached to freelance for some fancy women's periodical. I think it has to do with praise somehow. Why wouldn't it?
Ahhh Christmas, the Season of Secrets. I suck at it. I buy a gift and I want to give that gift to the person almost immediately!
My DH on the other hand, CAN Keep Secrets...he is so good he used to have TOP SECRET CLEARANCE for the Govt'. lol He doesn't work for them anymore, but he still locks his lips.
Ah secrets. My first thought is you are pregnant. Maybe pregnant with twins??
And Garret... did you have a LOT of coffee before you made your guesses? LOL
AH! I'm making another guess!!! You have written a novel and it's going to be published!
Joanie, me coffee? All the time.
It's obvious:
She's killed someone, and will reveal where EACH body part is hidden.
(Shhhh, you have to be careful of these strange bloggers. Me? I'm normal.)
