I am usually a wine drinker.  But there are times my drink list changes.  Lately, it's been a Lienenkugel's Summer Shandy.  The other night, at a friend's house, I hit the hard stuff (vodka).  I've noticed that different alcohol has different effects on me.  Beer- sleepy. Wine- relaxed. Hard stuff- relaxed but let loose.

Here in Indiana, it continues to be hot, hot, hot.  What's the weather like where you are?

Anyone know what these are?

They came from this tree:

Love this pic of my kids...

Have a great weekend!

No idea what those fruits are, but the idea of mixing pico de gallo & sour cream sounds marvelous! How have I never thought of it?

Lienenkugels are brewed in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin.

We'll be driving through CF tomorrow on our way up to our vacation lake!

Is that a hybrid fruit? Oh, yum - I'm definitely going to have to try sour cream + pico de gallo. Beer makes me sleepy, too, and I can no longer sleep when I drink the hard stuff (signs of getting old?!), so I'm mostly a wine drinker these days. Have a great weekend!

I don't like sour cream so now what?

Your kids photograph soooo well. Tehy'd be perfect in kids clothing ads!

No idea what that fruit is, but I'm guessing it's not a native species. I'm sure I'll end up trying to figure it out, though and will let you know if I come up with anything.

I love a good Shandy! I discovered them during a brief trip to England.

I've been thinking about switching out sour cream for plain yogurt. Hm.

Alcohol gives me a gut-ache unless it's a girly shot (Tequila Rose) or Baileys on the Rocks.

No idea what the fruit(?) is.

I love the photo, too.
