Prior to blogging, I kept a message board to keep up with friends and family through pregnancy and mommyhood. I'm working on bringing those posts to this blog.
Grandma is home with the kiddos today. I just got a frantic call from Teagan.
"Mommy! Sassy was a BAD BAD BAD BAD dog! She was BAD BAD BAD. We had the cookies and she ate them allg one and she ate dem wif her TEEF! You have to come right away!"
Grandma and Teagan were making sugar cookies, rolling out the dough, using cookie cutters. Mom had set the cookie sheet on the floor and Sassy had snuck over and snagged about 3 uncooked cookies before Grandma noticed.
Me: T, do you want to take off your coat?
Me: OK. But you can if you want to.
T: I don't want to. I like to be uncomffable. I like bein hot.
T: I like to suffer.
Me: You like to suffer?
T: Yeah. I like sufferin.
My favorite word that Teagan says... wonky. She totally gets it from me.
Me: Teagan, why is your hand in your pants?
T: My underwear is all wonky.
T: Oh no! My blanket! Oh no!
Me: What's wrong with it? I don't see anything wrong?
T: It's all wonky! I have to fix it!
Me: Teagan, what do you want for dinner? Lasagna or fish sticks?
T: I don't know. Mommy, you pick.
Me: I pick lasagna because I know you like it.
T: No. Pick again. Pick fishsticks.
Grandma recently taught Teagan how to make "ants on a log" (celery stick with peanut butter and raisins). Teagan doesn't like ants so she refused to really eat it.
Last time we saw Grandma, Teagan asked if they could make "caterpillars on a log."
Guess she doesn't mind caterpillars!
Me: Good morning, sunshine! Happy Valentine's Day! I love you!
Teagan: and... next is MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!
Me: Yes, your birthday is coming up. But today is Valentine's Day and we use this day to make sure we tell our friends and family that we love them.
Me: So... I love you, T!
Teagan: And THEN it's my BIRTHDAAAAAY!!!
