A Letter From Santa

Teagan got a letter from Santa. And not just some quick, rushed, pointless little note. A real letter. Check it out... (click to bigify) I love love love her preschool. I just wish they could keep expanding so she could be there through college.

That's very impressive. Her teachers get A+ for effort.

I love that it's signed "Santa 2009" like it's the latest model of Santa. lol.

I'm glad you found a preschool you love. The school's in my hometown were bad. I hope you continue to find schools like it!

So you're saying you didn't write that? That is amazing...they hit all those notes you've mentioned in your recent posts. I especially like the mention of "no meltdowns" lol!

To be fair- they did ask parents to answer a few questions. So some of the wording is fed to them. But most of it came from, I assume, our school director (Ms Lori) who knows these kids really, really well.

Actually, what I'd love is if I could to preschool for a couple of days... even my boss's boss has expressed the same desire... a day of naps and snacks and crafts and being read to...

That's pretty cool, there's a lot of work gone into doing that for all those kids!

Have you read J.R.R. Tolkien's Lettters from Father Christmas? For a few years I wrote letters from Santa to the kids modeled on Tolkien's and left them to be found under the tree on Christmas morning.

Going to go check out the link, Mim. I'm not familiar but if it's Tolkien, it's got to be fantastic!
