Out of the Mouths of Babes

Teagan doesn't like chocolate. She wants to. But it just isn't her thing. It's one of the few foods that she will actually spit out. Today, they had jelly beans and chocolate chips in Sunday School. This afternoon, she saw me eating brownies. As she started to leave the room, heading back to her room for quiet time, she turns to me and says "Mommy, when I'm bigger... bigger like you... how many are you?" "Maybe, when I'm 34, maybe I'll like chocolate then, too."

How cute. I wish I hated chocolate. So many calories. Have you tried white and dark chocolate as well?

She likes white chocolate- which makes sense since it isn't really chocolate at all. She tolerates dark- I really only eat dark chocolate. Milk she wrinkles her nose and spits it out or won't even put it in her mouth.

That is too cute:-) The other day when my best girlfriend told her 4yr old son that when he becomes a big boy he'll get to move out and live by himself, he replied, "I hope that's not for a long time, cause I'm not ready yet". How can you not just smile at the things kids say, lol!

I don't understand her, but I salute her individuality!

First of all, it won't take her thirty more years, guaranteed.

Second, I can't ever remember being 34. What's it like?
