Update: Trader Joe's Review

The Cloudy Chocolate Cake- meh. It was fluffy. It was not chocolatey. The cake part was dry and tasteless. Very disappointing, won't buy it again. I only ate about half of my piece. Pretzel bread and jalapeno pub cheese- awesome, as usual. For breakfast this morning, I enjoyed a Bacon and Feta Crustless Quiche. Microwavable and very tasty! Will definitely buy it again!

Get some egg beaters, go to their website for quiche ideas. We make it without crust in a glass round casserole dish. Put broc, cheese, sausage, bacon, ham, or whatever. It's cheap, healthy and easy.

I love Trader Joes. Its more dangerous than Costco. Bummer about the chocolate cake. I really like their corn salsa in a jar by the chips. Also there vanilla Joe Joes are awesome. They are like orea cookies.. but better!

Hey, I wanted to let you know that despite your Trader Joe's posts leading me into the deadly sin of envy (isn't that one of the big 7?), I'm adding you to my blog roll.

Hey, thanks Beth!! I feel really bad that you don't have a TJ's. Maybe someday I'll do a "my favorite things" giveaway and send you a box full of TJ's goodies!!

Huh. Well, so much for that exception I was willing to make. I certainly feel for you in your disappointment.

Next time, spend your cake money on the Two Buck Chuck! Especially for lunch; you'll never notice the afternoon go by. (as you sleep it off...hee hee)
