Because I Need Something Fun
I went downtown yesterday and spent some time on Mass Ave with Christy. It's an artsy kind of area with a string of cute boutiques that support local artists and such.
We discovered this.
It's a giant head constructed out of brick. It's called Brick Head 3 and the artist is James Tyler. It is equipped with a motion sensor and when it detects motion, it makes these metallic, deep, clangy noises. They aren't too loud- you have to kind of be paying attention to really notice them. The noise is supposed to represent the "information processing" mechanism of the brain, I think. Christy read the sign to me and I think that's what it said.
Inspired by my blog buddies Garret and Jim (they tend to take some silly pics at all of the various tourist attractions they hit on their travels)... and needing something a bit fun and light hearted... Yeah. I went there.

My friend Lynn (Lynn's Addiction) has blogged about this same head. I still haven't seen it myself. Where is it?
Oh you're hilarious .... :))) I love that head.
Wait....
No, that was clean...carry on....
Braja said Head. Huh-huh-huh.
Amy- it's in the little park next to Starbucks.
I'm booking my flight to Indy right now so I can pick the nostril on the right. My right, its left. You know... where the other boogers are.
Hahahaha!!!!! Oh that is too funny!!!
Looks like an old boyfriend of mine - no wait, he was a blockhead, not a brickhead... ;)
I wonder who thinks up these things. Did the artist wake up one day and say "yeah a BIG head!"
:-))))
