Project 52:3

Here's the history. Update time! I got stuff DONE this weekend!! I give credit to the improved weather and to my husband being out of town and to our less busy schedule. I got caught up on dishes. It only lasted a day before I was behind again. But for the weekend, I had only clean dishes and a cleared off countertop workspace. I cleared out part of the living room. I got rid of 2 bags of trash and cleaned out under the ottoman and cleaned up toys. I vaccuumed. I cleaned out the area around my desk, the top of my desk, and the end table next to my desk. I cleaned the steps leading to the basement, cleared out the basement landing/hallway, and did a major clean up of the laundry room that resulted in another 2 bags of trash going out along with an emabrassing number of empty laundry detergent containers and a stack of 12 packs of soda that were years old. I made progress! Now I have to find time between now and Sunday to do a lot more as my family is coming to visit for Teagan's birthday. Finding the time is going to be a challenge because I'm under the weather this week- lethargic, lacking energy, fuzzy brain. I will have to make time tonight. Tomorrow is church. I have music team on Thursday evening. I can carve out a few hours on Saturday but that day is focused on Teagan and her birthday celebrations (and I really need to squeeze in a long run somewhere). I guess Teagan's desire for chores couldn't come at a better time!! That girl better get to work! Photobucket

Wow, you DID get a lot done! Maybe you should just focus on that instead of worrying too much about the rest. I know, there are some things that have to be done, but since you're not feeling so energetic, just do the minimum. Nobody's coming to see how clean the bathroom is--pull the shower curtain and throw stuff in the tub!

Good luck this week getting through that list. Don't forget to leave time to enjoy Teagan's birthday!

Way to go Liz! :-) There's nothing like having visitors coming to make you get things done!

I still haven't managed to tame the kitchen and that was supposed to be February's focus. I blame the fact that I was sick for almost 2 weeks, perhaps I'll reassign it to March instead.

You're totally making progress! Awesome!

I'm trying to find a balance...between being a responsible mostly-stay-at-home-mom, and being at peace with a house that doesn't look like a model home.

I haven't found that balance yet.

You've been busy!

I've been trying to get myself organized. It's pretty slow-going, but it's nice to get those glimpses of progress.

Not like you, though. You're taking giant leaps!
