It's the Little Things

I sat down to pay bills yesterday. 2 weeks ago, I was scheduled to pay my gas bill. But I had overpaid, apparently, before. So I had no bill to pay. I got paid yesterday. I sat down to pay my bill. Opened the envelope. With low summer usage and still having a credit... NO BILL TO PAY! Hooray!

What's that like?

Congratulations. Not only are you obviously conserving energy, but also rich enough to overpay the electric company without realizing. Woot woot.

Enjoy the euphoria... August is coming...

It is, indeed, the little things. Enjoy that $0.00 balance while you can!

I'm actually here to notify you that I've just posted an Awards Extravaganza, and you are a lucky recipient. Please don your slinkiest evening gown and stop by to pick yours up!

It would be too cool to meet up...but we're flying overhead. I can ask the Captain, but I have a feeling he won't be interested in a pit stop so close to our destination.

I'll be sure to wave, though!

Yeah for surprises like that.

Our family has made a committment to be more "green" this year so we actually get excited when our electric bill comes in. We have cut it in half and it feels like we have won something when we open it and see how much we owe. :)
