I've deleted the negative comment that was made and the angry post I wrote in response.
My apologies.
No one has said anything negative to me about any of it. But reacting in anger is never a good choice.
I'm not angry with the negative commenter. I feel pity for them.
So the post is gone, that comment is gone. I'm going to enable anonymous comments again because I have non-blogging friends who read and comment and they shouldn't be punished for one person's bad choice.
And if there are more inappropriate, selfish, cruel comments... I'll just delete them.

Any way you want to do it. Just be empowered, not defensive.
I believe that anonymous comments are the height of cowardice. Say what you feel, but be authentic about it, yannow?
Anyway, I think you handled the situation well. And even though I know I'm not your favorite person, I still think you are terrific and you can always count on me for support.
Just keep the Lizdom coming.
I missed the last post, so I don't know what it was about, and I see two more comments have been deleted. Why does this keep happening? Why can't people just be nice?
Not my favorite person?? Alix, you goose!! I love you!
Jason- someone made a negative comment accusing me of being out for my own glory when it comes to assisting the family that I've been sharing about. I made an angry venting post about it. I don't know why people have to be nasty- especially in the face of tragedy and especially knowing that the anonymous poster came from the moms group where this is all happening.
Ah- such is life.
Ahhhh, I am glad that I am able to reply again. I was gonna kick some bum for you!!
Welcome back, oh calm one.
Ohmmmmmmm.
Ohmmmmmmm.
Ohmmmmmmm.
There are a whole lotta internet cowards out there who are so weak that they choose to hide behind a computer and spew their "opinions".
Don't let that deter you from doing the good that you were. At the end of the day, it's their problem, not yours! And the time they took to write negative, anonymous commentary to you, they would focus on being positive and supportive. Life's too short, dear Liz, let them writhe in their own sad, pitiful lives. Continue being you:-)
I saw the post about your friend who passed, but didn't get a chance to read any of the comments.
Don't allow any asshat stop you from writing what you want on YOUR blog!
Anonymous commenters are cowards!
I've been negative-emailed in response to my writing about searching for my birth mother, so I know how crappy it feels. I, too, think it is cowardly to leave anonymous comments. Don't let it get to you. You know what's in your heart.
