2 garden posts in a week? Seriously?
But much has happened.
Squash has happened- I went ahead and picked this fella. Teagan is so proud that she had to kiss the squash good night.
One of many tomato plants. Once these puppies start to ripen... we will be in tomato heaven!
Just starting to show a little yellowish-orange color change...
Flowers that will soon yield cucumbers.
And off on the side of the house- my blackberry bush. This I did all by myself. And my kids and I have enjoyed a total 3 ripe blackberries, plucked and eaten directly from the bush.
I suppose I can no longer claim a fully black thumb. With help from people wiser than I, my garden is fruitful and veggie-ful!

I planted tomato plants for the first time ever this year, and have had two tomatoes this past weekend. They were the best thing I have ever eaten - EVER.
I'll have the garden salad with tomato, cucumber and a quick Italian vinaigrette, please.
Mmmmmm.
Hooray! Everything looks wonderful! Your tomatoes aren't much behind ours here in NC.
I cracked up at the image of Teagan kissing the squash goodnight--how adorable. I hope she isn't traumatized when she sees you slicing into it.
Miss Chef planted some berry bushes that look about like yours...we got about two or three raspberries at a time, but they were also the best things EVER. I think the rabbits are getting the blackberries before we do. :( And our blueberries got burned while we were in Chicago--don't know if they'll make it.
Anyway, glad you rubbed the black of your thumbs and found some green under there!
That is SO cool! And so is this bloggy pad in here. Where the heck have I been?! Off to catch up! :)
Your garden looks great and very healthy and yummie :-)
Very jealous, here in the State O Maine, where the rain has been mostly a pain.
Our veggie garden is destroyed. Although, Corrine tells we might be able to salvage a few things.
My Dad always had the perfect Italian garden. I didn't follow in his foot steps but I enjoy a good virtual garden romp. Thank you. ~Mary
