Yay, that does look like a lot of fun! Did I ever tell you I've been to the Indy Zoo? Only time I've heard a lion's roar in person. Pretty cool!

Love the pic of Teagan looking at the duck, with the intensely colored water in the back.

And YES, those are lantana flowers! And the ones you have in front of your house I'm thinking are a salvia. I have some in front of my house too, but they don't look nearly that good.

Those poofy things are in the garlic family, and for the life of me I can't remember what they're called. Poofy purple flowers seems pretty apt, though.

Thanks for sharing; enjoy the rest of your long, long weekend!

The lion didn't roar this visit- but he did our last visit. It is pretty cool!! He was really very vocal that last time... really built up to the roar.

I didn't get a pic but the polar bear and the walruses were really active today... I guess trying to stay cool in the heat so they were swimming and playing in the water a lot.

Now I want to plant lantana at my house!!

Those are awesome! I really need to get to the zoo before it becomes ungodly hot out and too many kids are abound. i LOVE the zoo!

Go lantana go. Those pictures turned out awesome. Everytime I take pictures at a zoo, it turns out grainy from too much zoom. You must have a better camera or hopping the fences. Nice, simple slideshows. Thanks.

Thanks, Garret!

All of these flowers were not behind fences. And I do have a good camera (Nikon D40) and a good zoom lens.

I like clicking flower pics!!
