Happy Mother's Day!

There aren't enough gifts in the world to adequately express thanks and appreciation for the mothers in our lives, is there? At least... for the good ones... I have a good one. I love my mom. We've been through some really tough times together. We've been through some really great times together. I love that we are at a point in our lives that we are friends. It's hard to find all the right words to be descriptive enough to say how much my mom means to me. So put all the proper weight into these words:
Mom, I love you. Thank you.
On Mother's Day, my heart is also heavy for those who remember their moms but don't have them here. Young children who are facing this day with their mommy for the first time to grown children who have spent decades without their mom... And I think of those who don't have a close relationship to their moms or their mom is disconnected from them. I hope Mother's Day can be whatever it is you want it to be! Photobucket

Happy Mother's Day to a woman who I can tell is a WONDERFUL mother. Your kiddos are blessed to have been born into your family!

Happy Mother's Day to you and all mom's!

My husband is one who lost his mother when he was 14, to cancer. He misses her at all major points in our, and our children's, lives. This is a nice day of reflection for him- bittersweet.

Mother's Day is likely over by the time you read this,
so I'll just say
I hope your day was perfect.
