House Hunting

Finding the exact right home is hard. There are so many choices to make. You have to decide what is most important to you. What you won't budge on. What you can make allowances for. The type of construction, the style of home. How many rooms, how much space? It's an investment. At least in our family. It's a long term purchase. It isn't something you switch out every few years. You select your home based on the thinking that this is it for years and years to come. Location, location, location. 'Nuff said. Some things can be fixed. Don't like the paint color, for example. But it can be a factor, too. Because if you can find it exactly right, why not go for it exactly right? The stress comes when there is a time crunch. When you know you have to not only make a decision and complete the sale but you need time to do construction prior to move in. And so I turn to you, dear readers, for your wisdom, your help. We have a decision to make. I think we've decided on a builder. Now we have to choose the model we like best. Your input is needed. Your vote counts!

Savannah

(I like the porch swing and canopy bed.)

Isabella

(I like the roof and the piano room with grandfather clock.)

Interactive

(I like the working elevator and the piano.)

Teagan's Christmas depends on this!! The decision has to be right! Your help is needed!

All three have things to recommend them. I really like the working elevator in the third one. But bottom line, I like the middle one best. It's got the largest rooms, and looks like it would be the easiest to have "grow" with Teagan.

Oh boy that is a tough call, but I think I like the last 2 the best! Hope that narrows it down. I couldn't decide which one I like better and can see why you are having a tough choice!

I'm partial to the top house - it has 4 stories for crying out loud! It also looks gigantic (shock and awe factor) and has a cool attic space where Rapunzel can live. The detailing is pretty and it reminds me of a Pacific Heights Victorian. I'm with you on the porches and I love the staircase and banisters on the second level. Heck, I'd live there.

I liked #3 best, probably because of the bright colors.

I like the first one. I had a dollhouse as a child that my grandfather had made for my mom out of an old bookshelf--and I LOVED it. I brought home old wallpaper books and paint and was constantly redecorating, switching up the rooms...it was fun.

We came "this close" to getting Ava a dollhouse for Christmas also. I think this is a very very smart gift. After careful consideration, I really like number 3. However, if you have an open mind to a different house not pictured here, I have a recommendation from our recent scope-out of this situation.

I like the first or the third b/c I am partial to an attic...Love how the first one shows actual "grandmas attic" rocker and stuff really good for some exciting imaginative stories.

If I had to vote, I would say the first one...
